Tradtional Shaolin Martial Arts

"Choy Li Fut is the most effective system that I've seen for fighting more than one person. [It] is one of the most difficult styles to attack and defend against. Choy Li Fut is the only style [of kung fu] that traveled to Thailand to fight the Thai boxers and hadn't lost."

Shaolin Temple

The Choy Lee Fut Martial Arts System is deeply rooted in the Shaolin Kung Fu traditions. Choy Lee Fut is a system made up of the Chinese martial arts from both the Northern and Southern Shaolin Temples. The founder, Chan Heung, established Choy Lee Fut in 1836 after decades of training with his three teachers (Choy Fook, Lee Yau San and Chan Yuen Wu). He combined all of the techniques, theories and traditions, leaving nothing out from all of his teachings and created a formidable self-defense system incorporating many different practices that not only build one’s Kung Fu, but improves one’s life.

Benefits of Kung Fu

Kung Fu has many more benefits other than self-defense. Kung Fu helps one to use the body more effectively and efficiently by being aware of one’s movements which in-turn, helps to strengthen the mind. Kung Fu training makes the body more flexible to avoid physical injuries, makes the body stronger to help accomplish bigger and better goals, and creates better balance and coordination which can greatly help in all aspects of life. With regular practice, one also builds up the body’s cardiovascular levels and stamina to give you more energy throughout the day.
